The Core Difference between Beeswax and Amber is Bubbles
In geological and gemological terms, beeswax amber (蜜蜡) and transparent amber are actually the same exact substance: fossilized tree resin that has hardened over millions of years.

-
Transparent Amber has very few bubbles, allowing light to pass straight through it.
-
Beeswax Amber (or "Butterscotch" Amber, as it's sometimes called in the West) has a massive concentration of these tiny bubbles. The sheer number of bubbles scatters the light, making the material appear cloudy, milky, or opaque, giving it that characteristic "wax" look and feel.

Amber carries multifaceted meanings, embodying auspiciousness, health, wisdom, and emotional resonance . It is a gemstone brimming with positive energy.
